Hmmm, I almost forgot that I had to blog on Animal Farm... Well, in overall, I would say that it was a very meaningful story and it does contain a very important moral. However, the ending, I would say, is a little depressing.

I am amazed at how George Orwell has managed to weave history so nicely into a story for people to read. Besides understanding the deeper meaning of the book, the story itself makes it a good book already. It is interesting and describes the animals' lives and feelings in detail.

Now, let us talk about the deeper meaning of the book. It helps us in understanding history-what happened during the Russian Revolution by providing us with another means of remembering it, which is to remember the events that happened in a much-easier-to-understand-as-it-is-interesting book.

Therefore, I think that it was a right choice for schools to use this book as a way to teach literature and for those who have yet to read it, grab it b4 it runs out!! ( I am NOT an advertiser)
